3 DAYS 2 NIGHTS
Distance: 50 - 60km per day (Fit / Experienced Riders)
Time: 07:00 from HCM – Finishes 18:00 in Saigon
Duration: 3 Days (Seasonal - Mid October to April)
This 3-day epic ride is not for the faint hearted! With mostly off-road trails amongst the coffee and rubber tree plantations, you will be met with some technical hill climbs and rewarded with some fast and fun descents.
Day 1 - HCM to Long Khanh to Bao Loc - 60km – B/L/D
This cycling adventure will start by being picked up at Mr Biker D1 in Ho Chi Minh at 6:00 am by our team where you will be transferred out to Long Khanh, only 1 hour outside of HCM.
Long Khanh countryside is a rich farming town and we will follow gravel paths out through local fruit orchards and wind our way out to more open areas.
There are many rubber tree plantations and quiet areas for your group to explore with your guide and plenty of tree coverage to stay out of the sun. There are some small technical climbs and short and fast descents, the last 15km is really relaxing ride through the jungle including 20 mins for a quick deep your legs to a hot spring in the middle of the jungle.
We will finish with a later lunch on this day and then transfer up to Bao Loc (2 hours) to your hotel for the night.
Bao Loc is in the Central Highlands and is known as the ‘Tea Kingdom’ of South Vietnam with its
cooler weather, blue skies, green forests and red soil. It’s not known for its tourism, but more a stopover for travelling Vietnamese.
Day 2 - Bao Loc Cross Country to Ethnic Minority Village - 55km elevation gain 700m- B/L/D
The next morning, we will start with a local Vietnamese breakfast and then in Bao Loc, you will hop on your bike and start riding to the hilly countryside. You will meet a couple of challenging hills but the view of the green tea plantations, impressive mountains and temples will be 100% worth it.
You will ride to a charming secluded village, home of the Ma ethnic minority group, one of
Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups. You will be welcomed by a local guide from this minority and will learn more about their culture and history.
Dinner will be taken in a lovely traditional family’s home where you will get to try typical Ma food as well as traditional rice wine, also called “jar wine”.
Day 3 - Bao Loc to HCM - 46km - B/L
After breakfast, you will head straight out for the day’s adventure.
Today is a mix of tough climbs, super fun and flowing trails that follow the sides of the mountains with stunning views to take in along the way.
This ride is around 60% trails through coffee plantations with many a local to wave at and looking stunned as no foreigners ever travel through here.
The hill sections are technically fun but you will have had 2 days practice before taking on this challenge.
We finish the day taking a dip under a waterfall and a few cold beers to follow, a great way to finish the day. We will transfer back to HCM (around 3.5 hrs) and should be back at your hotel by 6 pm.

Things to think about:
Even though we provide modern bikes and safety gear, we understand that sometimes customers wish to have their own personal items. We would suggest customers bring their own helmet and cycling gloves for comfort and out mechanics can even fit the customer’s own seats and pedals. All bikes will be labelled with customers’ names so that they have the same bike each day and alloy smooth operations.
Where-ever possible we will cycle from point A to point B meaning the guests have as much experience on the bicycle and exploring outdoors. At certain points, we will use our comfortable and modern 16-seater minivan to transport guests safely to start and endpoints. These vehicles come with air conditioning.
If a customer wishes to not continue after lunch, they can be safely transported inside the minivan. The vehicles are present along the way for emergency purposes and can be used as necessary.
Food and Dietary Requirements:
At Mr Biker Saigon we believe in fresh and local food experiences wherever possible. This means eating delicious locally sourced and cooked food and giving the guests a real authentic trip. We can also cater to allergies and dietary requirements such as vegetarian, vegan or simple requests.
Food will always be local but with some minor changes to cater towards a Western pallet of tastes. We will also provide snacks along the way such as seasonal fruits and energy food.
Liability and Personal Health Insurance:
Mr Biker Saigon does not provide personal liability insurance to the guests on the trip. We suggest that each guest has the relevant Personal Health Insurance for travelling in Asia and that it covers activities such as cycling. In Vietnam, there is not an extensive first aid support such as ambulances and modern medical practices. We provide a support vehicle for such instances.
