The route winds through some of the most authentic rural landscapes in Vietnam, where the pace of life hasn’t changed in decades. Arrive in Soc Trang, a fascinating cultural melting pot where Khmer, Chinese, and Vietnamese communities have blended together over generations. This is pure, working Vietnam at its most authentic – no Instagram spots, just the real business of coastal life. Finish in Ganh Hao, a quiet port town that sees maybe one foreign face per year.
