Why Vietnam for Gravel

Vietnam Was Made for Gravel Riders

We’ve spent a decade mapping tracks that stay away from the traffic — real gravel, real terrain, real Vietnam.

Purpose-Built Routes

Not repurposed road tours. Every track is personally ridden and researched by our team — pine forests, coffee highlands, coastal salt flats and Mekong backways.

Route-Tested Local Knowledge

We combine tested routes with local knowledge — the families along the way, the shortcuts, and the hidden paths no app will ever show you.

Handpicked 4–5★ Stays

Chosen for comfort, character and location — so you recover well and wake up ready for another epic day in the saddle.

“The thoughtful itinerary was well-chosen — back roads and tracks away from the main roads gave us maximum exposure to small villages. Best for experienced riders with good fitness. Highly recommend.”

“We did a custom tour of the Mekong Delta and Cambodia — constantly surprised. A boat ride was never just a boat ride, it was a deep dive into the culture. It really could not have been better.”

Premium Gravel Bikes, Professionally Maintained in Vietnam

We’re proud to run Vietnam’s gravel tours to a genuine global standard — professionally maintained bikes, fitted to your measurements, and tuned for Vietnam’s terrain. We didn’t start here, though. For years we rode our routes on mountain bikes: affordable, durable, and forgiving on rough ground. But most of the riding — smooth dirt, quiet backroads, the odd technical stretch — never needed that much bike. Mountain bikes were overkill. The gravel bike turned out to be exactly right: capable enough for the dirt, quick enough for the tarmac, and far more comfortable over a long day in the saddle.

Got Questions?

Gravel Tour FAQs

Do I need to be an experienced gravel rider?

Our Moderate tours welcome road cyclists looking to try gravel for the first time. Challenging and Epic tours require good physical fitness and some experience on loose surfaces. We’ll discuss your level during enquiry.

Are the tours fully supported?

Yes. Every tour includes a dedicated support van carrying mechanical spares, nutrition, first aid and chilled drinks. A certified mechanic and guide travel with the group throughout.

Can I bring my own bike?

Absolutely. If you bring your own gravel bike, we’ll inspect and tune it before the tour begins. Contact us in advance so we can advise on packing and travel logistics.

What is the average daily distance?

Moderate tours average 50–65 km/day. Challenging tours run 65–80 km/day. Epic tours can reach 80–90+ km on some stages. Daily profiles are provided in tour details.

What happens if it rains?

We ride in light rain — it’s Vietnam! Tropical rain here is warm, so it’s far more refreshing than unpleasant. For severe weather, we have contingency routes and can adjust daily plans. The support vehicle always has rain gear available.

Are meals included?

Most of the meals are included, serving authentic Vietnamese cuisine and catering to dietary requirements on request. Some dinners are not, so guests can have the freedom to explore on their own.

Is there a minimum group size?

Set departure tours run from 4 riders. Private tours are available from 2 riders. Solo riders are welcome to join our set departures. Contact us for current group availability.

What insurance do I need?

Please arrange travel insurance that covers cycling activities, medical treatment and emergency evacuation. We can advise what to check before you travel.
