As of April 15, 2026, the Vietnamese government has introduced a mandatory pre-arrival registration to help speed up the immigration process. To avoid long queues and get to your hotel faster, please follow these steps:

• Who needs to do this? All foreign passport holders and overseas Vietnamese traveling on a visa. (Doesn’t apply if you’re just transiting or using a VN passport).
• Official Link: https://prearrival.immigration.gov.vn/
• Timeline: Complete this online at least 24 hours before you land.
• Pro Tip: Have a clear photo of your Passport and your E-visa details ready on your phone to upload directly to the form.

How it works:

1. Fill out your details at the link above.
2. You’ll receive a QR Code upon completion—save a screenshot of this!
3. Present this QR code to the Immigration Officer when you arrive in Saigon.

⚠️ Note: Skipping this step might lead to significant delays at the border, so we highly recommend doing it before you head to the airport.
