Push your limits and explore the real Mekong Delta on this adventurous Vietnam cycling tour. After a hotel pickup in Saigon, enjoy a traditional Vietnamese coffee before setting off on a thrilling 50km ride. Tackle single-track trails, muddy paths, and narrow wooden planks over rice paddies—just like the locals do every day!
Along the way, refresh with cold drinks and fresh fruit at water stops every 15km. After 50km, choose to rest in the support van or continue for an extra 12km. The ride wraps up in style at a local craft brewery, where you’ll sample unique regional microbrews—try the pho-flavored beer or go for an IPA, stout, or hibiscus-infused brew.
After a well-earned drink, relax on the comfortable ride back to Saigon.
Itinerary
7:30 hotel pickup for a 90 minute van transfer to a local cafe in the Mekong Delta, where you’ll be treated to traditional Vietnamese coffee or another drink and a bike fitting.
Cycling Distance: 50km
The next 50 km will be a mixture of mud and gravel paths, most of them single-track. There are also some elevated thin wooden planks over rice paddies. The ride’s not exactly easy, but it will give you a real feel for the kind of terrain locals traverse as parts of their daily life.
There are water stops every 15 km where you’ll get cold drinks and fresh fruits.
After 50 km, riders will have the choice to hop in our support vehicle and rest their legs. Those who choose to press on will go another 12 km. We will all meet up at a local craft brewery and sample their regionally appropriate microbrews; one of our favorites to try is the Pho-flavor, but they also have IPAs, Stouts, Cherry, Hibiscus, and even Whiskey flavored beers.
We’ll then hop back on the van for a 90 mins drive back to Saigon and arrive at 18:30
